Crack open a bottle of champagne – It’s time to celebrate!
A warm greetings, and a Big Thank You to all the supporters of the Om Charity, this year. With the generous donation from Michel Ouwehand and Family, we have just reached and crossed our initial goal of raising an “online donation” of $5000 for the 1st year.
More importantly, in this first year we were able to help and reach out to 25 Sick and Poor Tibetan families from Ladakh and Manali to Bylakuppe and Mundgod. I am so very thankful for each and everyone of your support in making my dream come true.
Just because we have reached our goal for the online donation, doesn’t mean we will stop raising funds and providing financial help to more SICK Tibetans in exile. We will continue to raise funds at concerts, seek support from Tibetans and Friends of Tibet, towards this project, of directly helping SICK and POOR families with monthly / annual medical assistance.
As my sister in law (Lhanze Shrestha – Girl with a powerful red car) would say, 100% of the donations goes straight towards SICK and POOR Tibetan’s monthly and annual medical cost. Not even a single penny is used for an administrative cost. So rest assured, your support and generosity is greatly appreciated by those Sick and Poor who receives direct medical care through Om Charity.
