Phurbu T Namgyal (Minnesota, USA)
Phurbu T Namgyal is a Tibetan musician and the founder of Om Charity Social work. His journey began in a refugee camp, where he spent the first 19 years of his life witnessing the challenges faced Tibetan refugees in India. With a deep-rooted passion for his culture and a desire to uplift others, Phurbu has dedicated over 30 years to social work, using his platform to bring awareness and support to his community. His music not only reflects his personal experiences but also serves as a beacon of hope for those navigating similar struggles. Through his efforts, he continues to inspire and empower others to rise above adversity.
Namgyal Tendol (New York, USA)
Namgyal Tendol is a dedicated teacher based in New York, whose journey began in the refugee settlements of India. As a cornerstone of the Om Charity Social Work since its inception, she plays a vital role in managing and assisting all efforts and communications. Her commitment to social work is a testament to her passion for making a difference in the lives of others. Ms. Tendol continues to inspire those around her through her unwavering dedication and leadership.
Tenzin Lhanam (Minnesota, USA)
Tenzin Lhanam has been part of Om Charity social work, since it's inception in 2013.
Tenzin plays a critical role in operational and administrative support to the ongoing projects and special needs. Just like the rest of the boards, Tenzin was also born in a refugee settlement in India and moved here during her early teens.
Lobsang Dorjee (India)
Lobsang Dorjee joined Om Charity early on, making significant contributions to our mission in India. He has coordinated multiple projects across South India, demonstrating unwavering dedication to our cause. Over the years, Lobsang has been an integral part of our free vision care clinic, helping to improve the lives of countless individuals in need. commitment to social work continues to inspire all.
